About The Position

ICF is seeking a Business Transformation Analyst to support its growing organization. The role will be within the Business Transformation Office (BTO), which leads corporate transformation projects. The analyst will work closely with a project team of operational, technical, and functional subject matter experts (SMEs) and leaders. This is an entry-level, 10-week, full-time internship expected to begin in June and end in August. Work will be hybrid from Reston, VA. Pay is expected to be $23 per hour for undergraduate interns and $28/hour for graduate interns. ICF is unable to provide housing or relocation assistance for this position.

Requirements

  • By start date, a minimum of 15 completed college-level credit hours in business, Administration, Information Systems, Marketing, Communications, Management, Economics, Public Policy, or related field.
  • Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills to include experience with developing and delivering presentations, editing, and proofreading.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage priorities, time and resource effectively.
  • Willingness and ability to quickly learn and understand project and change management concepts (Agile, ADKAR etc.).
  • Ability to explain complex or technical concepts in an easily understandable written format.
  • Ability to operate and adapt in a fast-paced, sometimes ambiguous, work environment.

Nice To Haves

  • A completed Bachelor’s degree and enrollment verification or 9 credit hours completed in a graduate program related to business, Administration, Information Systems, Marketing, Communications, Management, Economics, Public Policy, or related field.
  • Experience in product or change management.
  • Familiarity with project management principles and tools.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and experience in building and maintaining productive partnerships.
  • Solid computer skills with Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Forms, and Visio).
  • Prior use of MS Project or PowerBI a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Support internal business transformation by contributing to prominent corporate strategic initiatives.
  • Support the internal change management team in the development and dissemination of communications and training materials (e.g., job aids).
  • Communicate and partner with a variety of stakeholders across the organization to deliver projects on time.
  • Coordinate meetings including taking notes and maintaining PowerBi dashboards with project statuses.
  • Have the opportunity to network with executive leadership.
