About The Position

Spencer Fane is seeking a mid- to senior-level Business Transactions Associate to join its St. Louis office. The position focuses on mergers and acquisitions and other general corporate and commercial matters. An ideal candidate has experience with a broad range of corporate matters, including commercial transactions, tax, reorganizations, contracts, corporate governance, and compliance. The role requires the ability to work directly with attorneys and clients, manage multiple projects, develop and implement legal strategies, and contribute effectively in a collaborative team environment.

Requirements

At least 3 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions and other general corporate and commercial matters.
Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school with an excellent academic record.
Admission to the Missouri bar and in good standing.
Ability to interface directly with attorneys and clients.
Ability to work independently and productively.
Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Outstanding judgment.
Ability to effectively handle multiple projects.
Ability to develop and implement legal strategies.
Interest and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
