About The Position

This role is dedicated to delivering enhanced reporting, including dashboards and a portfolio wish list, focusing on areas such as delinquent collateral reporting, average undrawn availability, non-compliant reporting, and inventory reliance. The analyst will act as an in-house expert, bridging technology capabilities with Center of Excellence (COE) needs, recommending solution enhancements, and training COE employees. A key responsibility includes being an in-house Stucky expert, coordinating system maintenance and enhancements with vendors and TD Bank IT, assisting with troubleshooting, and leading system testing. The role requires turning data into actionable information to accelerate decision-making through dashboards and reports, demonstrating deep analytical skills with a solutions-oriented approach, and possessing in-depth collateral monitoring/operations experience. Strong project management skills with meticulous attention to detail are essential, as is the ability to communicate effectively at all organizational levels and interact professionally with a diverse group of stakeholders. The position requires working effectively in a matrix organization and across functions.

Requirements

  • 4 year degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years related experience required
  • In-depth understanding of commercial lending industry, business development techniques and credit decisions, with experience in corporate, asset based, leasing, international , foreign exchange and trade services and other specialty lending areas helpful
  • Ability to assess business needs and develop a technology solution
  • Project management experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong team collaboration and interpersonal skills
  • Required application experience: data mining software (i.e. Monarch), Business Objects, Access, Excel, Stucky, Shaw
  • Deep analytical skills with solutions mentality
  • Deep collateral monitoring/operations experience
  • Strong project management skills with great attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate at all levels of the organization; proven ability to interact professionally with a diverse group (leaders, managers and subject matter experts)
  • Must work effectively in a matrix organization and across functions

Responsibilities

  • Deliver enhanced reporting including dashboards and portfolio wish list - Delinquent collateral reporting, Avg undrawn availability, Non-compliant reporting, Inventory reliance and other exception reports
  • Act as in-house experts who marry technology capabilities and COE needs (i.e. analytical models); recommend solution enhancements; train/re-train COE employees
  • Serve as in-house Stucky expert; Coordinate maintenance /enhancements for Stucky System with Vendor and TD Bank IT Resources; Assist with troubleshooting; Lead system testing
  • Turn data into information to accelerate decision making; use dashboards/reports to provide transparency for management
