Woburn Public Schools is seeking a High School Business Teacher to report directly to the Principal. The teacher will be responsible for creating a safe, equitable, and culturally responsive learning environment with high expectations for all students. This role involves implementing district curriculum and state frameworks, continuously improving teaching practices, and demonstrating a deep understanding of subject matter and pedagogy. The teacher will design and deliver differentiated learning experiences, develop well-structured lessons and units with measurable outcomes, and utilize various assessment methods to track student progress. Maintaining a positive classroom environment, fostering respect for diversity, and engaging families in the school community are key aspects of this position. The teacher will also reflect on their practice, seek professional development, collaborate with colleagues, and maintain accurate records. Instructional and general duties will be assigned by school administration.
