About The Position

The main responsibility of the Business Systems Support Analyst is providing technical support for employees across desktop computers, laptops, mobile devices, software applications, and network services. This role is responsible for troubleshooting IT issues, managing user accounts and access, supporting Microsoft 365, and assisting with technology projects. This is an onsite role working at our Americas HQ in West Dundee, Illinois supporting employees at sites across the entire region.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of science in Information Technology preferred; relevant courses and Microsoft certification(s) strongly encouraged
  • Prior experience in a help desk environment (end-user support) in a multi-site environment strongly recommended
  • Prior experience working with (and understanding of) Microsoft Server and desktop operating systems including Active Directory and Azure Cloud services
  • This position may require the use of, and access to, export-controlled data. The applicant must demonstrate eligibility to use and access such export-controlled data. The purpose of this requirement is to ensure compliance with U.S. export control laws
  • Proficient problem solving and analytical ability
  • In-depth knowledge of wired and wireless networking
  • Good verbal and written communication skills to provide technical assistance in person, via phone, or electronically and create IT documentation
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
  • Interpersonal skills: Verbal, Written, Conflict-management

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience supporting a virtualized multi-site corporate network
  • Experience working with Microsoft Power Platform, SharePoint
  • Experience working with Microsoft Dynamics 365
  • Bi-lingual in Spanish or Portuguese

Responsibilities

  • Resolve helpdesk tickets and provide telephone/remote technical support to end users
  • Provide on-site troubleshooting, training, and tech support at the desktop level
  • Assist with network issues
  • Configuration and support of basic desktop, notebook, and network printers, software and hardware
  • Resolve helpdesk tickets and document processes and procedures using ITIL compliant ticket management system
  • Install, setup, and troubleshoot Microsoft Windows operating systems on desktop and notebook PCs including the Microsoft 365 suite
  • Create user accounts and workspace set-up
  • Support an ERP system for a sales and distribution organization
  • Perform administrative tasks on VOIP PBX as well as setup and support various smartphone OS
  • Other duties as assigned or requested
