We have an exciting opportunity for an individual with a technical aptitude to join the Royal Tyrrell Museum, one of Alberta’s premier cultural attractions. This is your chance to join and contribute to a world-renowned institution dedicated to palaeontology, science education, and the preservation of Alberta’s rich natural resources. The Royal Tyrrell Museum of Palaeontology is an internationally recognized public and scientific institution, mandated to collect, preserve, protect, present, and interpret palaeontological history - with a particular emphasis on Alberta’s rich fossil heritage. As a key team member working collaboratively across the Museum, you will play an important role in supporting and advancing these institutional objectives. Reporting to the Director, Operations and Finance, you will work independently as the Business Systems Coordinator. In this role, you will be responsible for administering the Museum’s ticketing system and point-of-sale (POS) hardware, serving as the primary on-site information technology contact, and overseeing the lifecycle management of hardware and software assets. You will also support and enhance system integrations, including the use of emerging tools such as artificial intelligence, to improve operational effectiveness. In addition, the role provides audio/visual technical support for Museum events.
