About The Position

This role involves analyzing business problems and defining solutions within a new system, specifically focusing on Workday Payroll. The consultant will be responsible for defining, contributing to, and coordinating the development and approval of test plans. They will also execute or coordinate the execution of these test plans, approaches, and scripts, while documenting, monitoring, and coordinating the resolution of test issues. Evaluating risks associated with testing approaches and recommending alternatives is also a key part of the role. Additionally, the consultant will help identify change management items for training and organizational change management teams, focusing on process changes between the current state (PeopleSoft) and the future state (Workday). A significant aspect of the role is working through the deployment plan and supporting the implementation of Workday from a Payroll perspective.

Requirements

  • Experience with Workday Payroll
  • Ability to define solutions within a new system
  • Experience in developing and approving test plans
  • Experience in executing test plans, approaches, and scripts
  • Experience in documenting, monitoring, and resolving test issues
  • Ability to evaluate risks and recommend alternative testing approaches
  • Experience in identifying change management items
  • Familiarity with PeopleSoft
  • Understanding of Payroll processes

Responsibilities

  • Work through deployment plan and support the implementation of Workday, from a Payroll perspective
