Responsible for the evaluation and implementation of computing and technology-based resources for the Pharmacy staff to perform patient care activities. Includes analysis of business and user needs, documenting requirements, and revising existing system logic difficulties as necessary. Maintains day-to-day operations of the Pharmacy's desktop and technology-based resources. Provides ongoing communication with customers on system status and data issues. Will advise on end-user training for information technology-based resources to ensure understanding of functionality. Troubleshoots and maintains existing applications (e.g. monitor processes, error correction, provide QA of data and maintain data integrity, system testing, etc.). Provides technical consulting on basic information systems projects.
