About The Position

The Business Systems Analyst collects, analyzes, and interprets complex business data to support informed decision making across sales, market performance, and inventory trends. This role designs and maintains interactive dashboards and automated reports, collaborates closely with stakeholders to translate reporting needs into data-driven solutions, and supports forecasting and performance tracking. The analyst ensures data quality, optimizes reporting processes, and provides actionable insights that enhance sales performance, operational efficiency, and retail execution.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in commerce.
  • 0–2 years of experience as an analyst in a related analytical, technical, or business systems role.

Responsibilities

  • Collect, analyze, and interpret large datasets related to sales performance, market share, and inventory trends to support strategic and operational business decisions.
  • Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and automated reports using tools such as Power BI and Excel.
  • Extract, clean, and transform data from multiple sources, including POLK data, to ensure accuracy, consistency, and usability for reporting and analysis.
  • Perform ad hoc data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and performance gaps across regional and dealer-level operations.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, including District Managers, to understand reporting requirements and translate them into effective data-driven solutions.
  • Monitor data quality on an ongoing basis and implement validation checks to maintain the integrity and reliability of reporting outputs.
  • Support forecasting and performance tracking by analyzing historical data and generating actionable insights for business stakeholders.
  • Optimize reporting processes by automating recurring reports and improving data workflows to increase efficiency and reduce manual effort.
  • Provide data-driven recommendations to improve sales performance, operational efficiency, and retail execution.
  • Document data processes, report logic, and dashboard structures to ensure consistency, knowledge sharing, and scalability across the organization.
  • Create business solutions that increase competitive advantage by leveraging data, analytics, and technology.
  • Exercise sound judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions to business and technical challenges.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deliverables are completed on time and aligned with business priorities.
  • Solve technical problems and understand complex process and system details to support high-quality technical solutions.
  • Increase operating efficiency by identifying and implementing improvements in data, reporting, and analytical processes.
