Business Systems Analyst (1099 Contract)
About The Position
Bestow is seeking a Business Systems Analyst for a 6-month, 1099 contract engagement to support a temporary project. This role is part of the Delivery Management team within the Engineering organization and will focus on executing high-priority strategic initiatives. The Business Systems Analyst will partner closely with Product, Engineering, and Revenue teams to implement Bestow Platform solutions and build new, custom solutions. The primary responsibility will be to gather and translate business requirements into technical specifications for complex configuration data sets, working directly with insurance carriers and Bestow's engineering team. This is a remote position within the contiguous 48 US states.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst.
- Experience gathering, documenting, and translating business requirements into technical specifications.
- Ability to interpret and organize complex product configuration data sets.
- Proficiency with Google Sheets, JIRA, and Confluence.
- Proficiency with a data visualization tool such as Tableau or Grist.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Nice To Haves
- Experience preferably in insurance, financial services, or SaaS.
- Familiarity with policy administration systems or underwriting workflows.
Responsibilities

- Translate business requirements into technical specifications for Bestow's engineering team.
