About The Position
First Supply, a fifth-generation family-owned company with over 125 years of service in the Upper Midwest, is seeking a Business Systems Analyst. This role is crucial for optimizing software applications, streamlining business processes, and enhancing operational efficiency by collaborating across departments. The position is fully onsite and offers an opportunity to translate business needs into effective technology solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems or related field (or equivalent work experience) required.
- 3+ years of experience in business analysis, system analysis or related role preferred.
- Proficiency with business systems (e.g., ERP, CRM) and basic SQL knowledge required.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Work, and PowerPoint.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience working with Infor CloudSuite technology platform preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day support for business software applications, ensuring smooth operation and addressing technical issues or user inquiries.
- Offer training and support to end-users on system functionality and updates.
- Collaborate on implementing initiatives to deliver ERP solutions that improve the efficiency of technology solutions and data usage for internal departments and external partners.
- Assist in identifying, evaluating, and implementing improvements to software applications and processes to optimize business performance.
- Assist in the configuration, testing, and deployment of new systems or system enhancements.
- Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure solutions meet business requirements.
- Investigate system-related issues and provide timely resolutions.
- Develop and present recommendations for process improvements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical and functional requirements.
- Collaborate on the creation and use of business intelligence tools to provide actionable insights and support data-driven decision-making.
- Other duties/responsibilities as assigned by leadership.
