About The Position

Hooker Furnishings Corporation (HOFT), in its 101st year of business, is a designer, marketer and importer of case goods (wooden and metal furniture), leather furniture and fabric-upholstered furniture for the residential, hospitality and contract markets. Based in Martinsville, VA with administrative offices in High Point, NC, domestic production facilities in Hickory, NC and Bedford, VA and distribution warehouses in Martinsville, VA, Hooker Furnishings is ranked among the nation’s largest publicly traded furniture sources. Hooker Furnishings also operates multiple showrooms in High Point, NC and Las Vegas, NV, and administrative offices in Vietnam. We are seeking a Business Systems Analyst to join our Information Services team, based in either our Martinsville, VA or High Point, NC offices. This position is responsible for supporting and enhancing our D365 Finance and Operations environment within a manufacturing and distribution business. The role focuses on business system analysis, user support, reporting, and continuous improvement of business processes and applications.

Requirements

Strong customer service orientation with demonstrated stakeholder engagement
Experience working with multiple database environments
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, changing environment
2–4 years of experience in business systems or application analysis
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or related field preferred
Experience with Microsoft Office, SSRS, Power BI, and D365 Finance & Operations preferred
Knowledge of manufacturing and ERP environments preferred

Responsibilities

Develop a deep understanding of business processes supported by D365 Finance and Operations
Provide support for production, test, and development environments
Troubleshoot system issues and manage resolution through to completion, escalating when appropriate
Train end users on system functionality, including navigation and master data management
Design and develop reports using SSRS and Power BI to support business decision-making
Gather business requirements, perform gap analysis, and translate needs into functional specifications
Collaborate with technical teams to develop and implement tailored D365 solutions and workspaces
Ensure applications are maintained for performance, reliability, and continuity of business operations
Monitor and maintain system integrity, ensuring processes and outputs are accurate and complete
Support application deployments and assist in resolving technical challenges
Identify opportunities for process improvements, increased efficiency, and system optimization
Establish and maintain effective working relationships with cross-functional stakeholders
Contribute to documentation, procedures, and best practices
