About The Position

QuadReal Property Group is seeking an enthusiastic and driven Co-op/Intern to join our Integration Team in Toronto or Vancouver. Reporting to the Senior Business System Analyst, you will actively contribute to the day-to-day operations and play a vital role in our ongoing efforts to streamline and enhance our IT environment. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in integration, working alongside our talented team to understand integration requirements, optimize existing systems, implement new solutions, and improve our processes and tools, and participate in implementation and integration testing.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an academic program in Computer Science, Software Development, or Information Technology
• Familiarity with middleware and Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) technologies such as Azure Data Factory or MuleSoft is valuable
• Familiarity with tools like Excel, SQL, or Python for data extraction, analysis, and reporting.
• Basic understanding of relational databases and the ability to query data using SQL.
• Knowledge of tools like Microsoft Visio or Lucid chart for creating process diagrams and workflows.
• Ability to assess problems, analyze data, and identify possible solutions or improvements to business systems.
• Ensure accuracy in documentation, data analysis, and testing processes.
• Effective communication is crucial to understand business requirements and collaborate with cross-functional teams
• A willingness to learn and adapt to new tools and techniques is vital

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with project stakeholders to gather and document integration requirements.
• Assist in translating business requirements into technical integration solutions.
• Analyze current systems and workflows to identify inefficiencies, gaps, and areas for improvement.
• Assist in evaluating new software solutions or upgrades to existing systems.
• Use data analysis tools to generate reports and provide insights on system performance and business processes.
• Support the creation and maintenance of dashboards for tracking key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Maintain detailed documentation of integration processes, configurations, and best practices.
• Assist in creating user guides and knowledge base articles for team reference.
• Support system testing efforts, including developing test cases, executing tests, and documenting results.
• Collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot issues and validate system changes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, architects, and business analysts.
• Continuously learn and stay updated on industry trends and best practices in integration technologies, particularly MuleSoft.
