About The Position

The Business Systems Analyst Sr will join an Agile software development team focused on enhancing the Digital Investing experience within PNC’s Online Banking platform. This individual will serve as a key liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams, working closely with Product Owners, Developers, Scrum Masters, and Tech Leads to define requirements, create user stories, and support the delivery of innovative investment capabilities for customers. The ideal candidate is a fast learner who thrives in a complex, highly regulated environment, enjoys solving challenging business problems, and is comfortable facilitating discussions across multiple teams. This role provides an opportunity to work in the evolving digital investing space while helping drive the success of strategic online banking initiatives.

Requirements

  • University / college degree, with 2+ years of relevant professional experience. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered.
  • Customer Focused - Knowledgeable of the values and practices that align customer needs and satisfaction as primary considerations in all business decisions and able to leverage that information in creating customized customer solutions.
  • Managing Risk - Assessing and effectively managing all of the risks associated with their business objectives and activities to ensure they adhere to and support PNC's Enterprise Risk Management Framework.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working as a Business Systems Analyst on Agile software development teams.
  • Background in the financial services industry, preferably supporting digital banking or investment products.
  • Knowledge of investment platforms, brokerage services, wealth management, or digital investing solutions.
  • Experience writing user stories, acceptance criteria, and requirements documentation in Jira.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and software development lifecycles.
  • Excellent facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to quickly learn complex business domains and technical concepts.
  • Previous experience with PNC Bank, particularly Retail Online Banking, is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Participates in analyzing business requirements and production specifications for changes made to technology applications.
  • Formulates and defines the system scope and objectives, based on user needs and business processes.
  • Directs business process improvement projects for internal business groups, aiming to improve business results.
  • Identifies and documents all system constraints, implications and consequences of various proposed system changes.
  • Provides recommendations for addressing and resolving business issues, for a specific business group.
