Business Systems Analyst Sr. - Supplier Quality

About The Position

We are seeking a highly motivated Business System Analyst to support and enhance our Oracle Quality module and related business systems. This role is responsible for day-to-day production support, managing and triaging system issues, escalation of issues, and partnering closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, and super users to ensure system reliability and continuous improvement. In addition, this role will provide oversight of Supplier Quality’s internal ticketing (ITCR, PMO) process, support governance processes (JIRA), contribute to the SQ Center of Excellence (SQ CoE), and drive visibility through reporting, documentation and user communication.

Requirements

  • High School Degree
  • 5+ years’ experience in a business system support/administration, production support or similar role
  • Collaborative team player
  • Experience supporting or managing user access, roles and permissions
  • Ability to translate business needs into clear requirements and communicate technical concepts to non-technical users
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated troubleshooting and problem-solving skills (Root Cause Analysis, Belt training, etc.)

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 4+ years’ experience working in EB business systems (Oracle, SPARs, MRP, Cornerstone, etc.)
  • 2+ years’ experience as a super user in Oracle Quality Module or Quality business systems
  • Project management experience

Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day support for the Oracle Quality module, including troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and issue resolution
  • Monitor system performance and proactively identify risks or recurring issues
  • Coordinate with IT and Supply Chain to resolve issues and system bugs
  • Ensure timely resolution and communication of production issues to stakeholders
  • Manage and oversight of JIRA ticket intake, prioritization and workflow governance for business system requirements
  • Ensure tickets are properly documented with clear business and technical requirements
  • Partner with IT to track progress, remove blockers, and ensure SLA adherence
  • Maintain visibility into backlog, enhancements and bug resolution
  • Support test script documentation, testing and validation during turnovers as needed
  • Act as a liaison between business users, Supply Chain and IT teams to translate needs into actionable solutions
  • Support and mentor super users, enabling self-service and knowledge sharing
  • Facilitate issue triage sessions and prioritize business-critical requests
  • Perform basic role and permission administration for supported systems
  • Ensure appropriate access controls are maintained in alignment with internal policies
  • Support audits and compliance activities as needed
  • Support the SQ CoE by tracking initiatives and system enhancements in JIRA
  • Develop metrics and work with the SQ CoE BI Team to create dashboards and reports on: Ticket volume and trends, SLA performance, Project and enhancement status
  • Identify opportunities for process Improvement and standardization
  • Create and maintain knowledge base articles, FAQs, and user guides
  • Develop articles for our supply base and internal Oracle User Community highlighting system updates, known issues, best practices and lessons learned
  • Promote adoption of tools and processes through clear and engaging communication
