As a Business Systems Analyst, Senior within PNC's Enterprise Technology organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA or Strongsville, OH. Requirements

  • Roles at this level typically require a university / college degree, with 2+ years of relevant professional experience.
  • In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Serves as a senior liaison between Lines of Business and Technology, translating complex business needs into clear, complete, and approved functional and non functional system requirements aligned to PNC standards.
  • Leads end to end analysis activities, including current state assessment, gap analysis, and future state design, ensuring requirements fully cover approved scope, regulatory considerations, and associated risk controls.
  • Produces and governs high quality deliverables such as business requirements, user stories, data maps, process flows, and acceptance criteria using approved methodologies (Agile or Traditional) and standard tools.
  • Partners closely with Product Owners, Architects, Engineers, QA, and UAT teams to validate solutions, support defect triage, and ensure delivered functionality meets business and control expectations.
  • Provides senior level guidance, coaching, and oversight to other analysts, promoting consistent analysis practices, documentation quality, and adherence to enterprise change and delivery standards.
  • Supports post implementation and business as usual activities by monitoring outcomes, validating process performance metrics, and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Participates in analyzing business requirements and production specifications for changes made to technology applications.
  • Formulates and defines the system scope and objectives, based on user needs and business processes.
  • Directs business process improvement projects for internal business groups, aiming to improve business results.
  • Identifies and documents all system constraints, implications and consequences of various proposed system changes.
  • Provides recommendations for addressing and resolving business issues, for a specific business group.
