About The Position

The Oracle/ERP Business Analyst will serve as a liaison with business end users to facilitate optimization of Oracle’s capabilities, develop management reporting tools, and facilitate business process efficiencies throughout the organization. The business analyst must be self-motivated and possess strong organizational and communication skills along with an aptitude for problem solving and analytical thinking. The Business Analyst role works both independently and a member of the ERP team to enhance and support the Oracle EBS application modules, reporting, interfaces and other related applications. ERP team members consult with our business users, gather and define requirements, configure standard applications, conduct gap analysis, design solutions, and provide end-user support across multiple geographies. The Oracle ERP team encourages active involvement to investigate, document, evaluate alternatives and find resolutions to issues within the business. Requirements

  • 4-year degree from an accredited university in Computer Science, Information Technology/Management Information Systems, or related field OR a combination of education and relevant experience
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience reviewing, analyzing and evaluating user needs in relation to system solutions.
  • Hands-on experience with Oracle Applications, PL/SQL, SQL, Linux, Oracle Databases, Oracle Reports, SplashBI reporting tool, Oracle Discoverer tool.
  • Database skills including DB2, Oracle, Sybase, Informix, MS SQL Server – data modeling experience a plus.
  • Strong SQL skills and the ability to understand complex SQL statements.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and tenacity in problem-solving.
  • High attention to detail and the ability to learn quickly.
  • Proficiency with operating systems; Windows, LINUX.
  • Strong customer service skills including good communication and follow-up.
  • US Citizenship is required

Responsibilities

  • Run SQL query report for Oracle Applications users
  • Assist user with Oracle Applications issue, debug, and create Service Request with Oracle Support to find a solution
  • Gather new requirements for enhancing Oracle application
  • Debug and fix any existing customization via pl/sql
  • Assign responsibility or update role in Oracle applications
  • Supporting Production issues with third-party interface such as Kronos, Paycor, Ceridian
