Business Systems Analyst - IT, Ambulatory EMR
About The Position
Hawai'i Pacific Health is a not-for-profit health care network with over 70 locations statewide including medical centers, clinics, physicians and other caregivers serving Hawai'i and the Pacific Region with high quality, compassionate care. Its four medical centers - Kapi'olani, Pali Momi, Straub and Wilcox - specialize in innovative programs in women's health, pediatric care, cardiovascular services, cancer care, bone and joint services and more. Hawai'i Pacific Health is recognized nationally for its excellence in patient care and the use of electronic health records to improve quality and patient safety. Under the direction of the Department Manager or designee, provides application support to user Departments. Acts as the key liaison between the business community, vendors and the IS Department. Responsible for Tier 2 support of applications. Translates customers' high-level requirements into functional specifications for the IS Department and manages changes to such specifications. Uses a variety of platforms to provide automated systems applications to customers. Responsible for gathering, compiling and synthesizing information with regard to technology processes and/or systems. Codes, defines criteria and performs testing, debugging and documents and maintains programs. Researches and maintains knowledge in emerging technologies and possible application to the business.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Health Care or related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Current driver's license, abstract, and current Hawai'i auto insurance.
- One (1) year of experience in functional analysis, system design and/or business applications.
Nice To Haves
- Epic experience in MyChart module, Healthy Planet, Care Everywhere, & Cosmos modules.
- Healthcare experience preferred.
