About The Position

The IT Business Systems Analyst (ITBSA) is the vital bridge connecting technology and business. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field preferred
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or in a similar role within an IT environment
  • Experience in project coordination or project management in IT setting is preferred
  • Familiarity with SDLC, Agile, or Waterfall methodologies is preferred
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience documenting business requirements and translating them into technical specifications
  • Proficient with tools such as Microsoft Office Suite, project tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, MS Project), and process mapping tools
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and end users
  • Able to remain knowledgeable of technical industry advancements and comply with all requirements concerning responsibility
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks with attention to detail and perform duties with minimal supervision
  • Ability to use discretion when handling confidential information
  • Ability to maintain a good working relationship with all team members, members, and vendors and to use good judgment in recognizing the scope of authority
  • Ability to work with diverse personalities and population
  • Excellent customer service skills to internal team members
  • Must be able to travel within the branch network regularly
  • This position requires a minimum number of in-office days per week, as deemed by the manager.

Responsibilities

  • Liaise directly with business areas to identify key requirements and initiate designs of applications, conferring with user groups to define business needs and potential solutions based on application capabilities
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, end users, developers, and IT teams to gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements
  • Translate business needs into clear, actionable technical requirements and ensure alignment with organizational goals
  • Facilitate and lead meetings, workshops, and interviews to gather input and feedback
  • Support the planning, execution, and monitoring of IT projects by coordinating tasks, maintaining documentation, and preparing reports
  • Create and maintain process documentation, use cases, workflows, and functional specifications
  • Support user acceptance testing (UAT), training, and change management activities
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and work with teams to design efficient technology solutions
  • Contribute to the delivery of technology solutions that are intuitive and aligned with business requirements
  • Monitor project progress, risks, and issues, and help ensure timely resolution of projects
  • Define systems requirements, design, and prototype business processes and text complex functionality
  • Act as a subject matter expert by training and providing guidance to end users and fellow IS team members
