About The Position

TEKsystems is seeking a Business Systems Analyst Consultant to partner with business stakeholders and technology teams to deliver solutions that support risk management, regulatory reporting, and digital transformation initiatives. This role requires a self-starter who can build strong relationships, gather and document requirements, analyze business processes, and help implement technology solutions that create business value.

Requirements

Early to mid-level experience as a Business Systems Analyst or related role.
Experience gathering requirements and working directly with business stakeholders.
Strong SQL, Excel, and data analysis skills.
Understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and backlog management.
Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Bachelor's degree in MIS, CIS, Business, Finance, Mathematics, or a related field.

Nice To Haves

Experience with AWS cloud technologies.
Experience supporting regulatory reporting, risk management, or financial systems.
Experience with risk management systems, OTC derivatives, trading platforms, or financial markets.

Responsibilities

Partner with business users to understand objectives and define business requirements.
Document business processes, user stories, functional specifications, and acceptance criteria.
Analyze and recommend process improvements and technology solutions.
Support the design, testing, and implementation of risk, reporting, and trading-related applications.
Collaborate with development teams in an Agile environment.
Utilize SQL and data analysis techniques to support business and technical needs.
Coordinate testing efforts and support change management activities.
Research and evaluate emerging technologies, including AWS-based solutions.
