Requirements

Prior BSA (Bank Secrecy Act) experience
Must have strong analytical/investigative skills and the ability to make sound recommendations
Have strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage time effectively, meeting deadlines as assigned
Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast paced environment
Strong attention to detail with proven record of accuracy
Proficiency in Microsoft Office products such as Word and Excel

Responsibilities

Oversee record keeping, processing and reporting of Currency Transaction Reports
Monitoring of Member Due Diligence and Enhanced Due Diligence requirements
Review daily assigned reports
Process all incoming and outgoing requests for information sharing with other financial institutions per OFAC regulations
Investigate alerts and suspicious activities detected in our Financial Crimes Management platform
Complete OFAC and 314a verifications
Ensure required recordkeeping, processing and reporting of all suspicious activity, complete SAR narratives as needed
Assist in coordinating responses to regulatory BSA/AML examinations, audits and actions taken to ensure deficiencies are corrected.
Attend regulatory training, seminars or conferences and read periodicals to maintain current knowledge in all facets of BSA
Work with the Human Resources & Training department to coordinate BSA/OFAC training for new hires and required annual training to credit union personnel
Perform other duties as assigned
