About The Position

The Business Systems Analyst supports organizational technology initiatives by analyzing business processes, identifying system requirements, and ensuring alignment between technical solutions and business needs.

Requirements

  • Able to speak, write and understand English.

  • Possess applicable computer skills, proficient in MS Excel and database management.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence, effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to clients and other employees of the organization.

  • Demonstrated use of intermediate computer operations and intermediate software packages

  • Bachelor's Degree from four-year college or university with 2 years related experience; or four or more years related experience with data entry, data compliance and/or project management or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Track record of successful project management training, compliance, and/or data quality projects.
  • Knowledge of Health and human services background and HMIS preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze business processes and document system requirements.
  • Develop functional specifications and liaise between business units and IT.
  • Support system implementations, upgrades, and integrations.
  • Conduct user acceptance testing and validate system functionality.
  • Provide training and documentation for end users.
  • Prepare documents, spreadsheets, and databases as necessary for reporting purposes.
  • Develop, generate, and compile reports required by the Department.
  • Monitor data integrity and troubleshoot system issues.
  • Develop new strategies and IT procedures to increase efficiency, enhance workflow and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Serves as technical “Go-To” for departments regarding ERP systems.
  • Actively participate in the PQI System.
  • Facilitate the analysis of data to continually assess organizational performance.
  • Complies with all applicable training requirements.
  • Complies with all company safety, personnel and operational policies and procedures.
  • Complies with work schedule to ensure effective operations of Agency programs.
  • Contributes positively as a member of a productive and cooperative team.
  • Performs other duties as necessary to fulfill the Mission of Society of St. Vincent de Paul CARES.
