About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Business System Analyst to join our team in Plano, Texas. This is a 6-month contract position requiring an onsite presence. The role involves collaborating closely with engineers and product managers to gather and analyze business requirements, contributing to the entire software development lifecycle (SDLC). You will be instrumental in developing and managing requirements using Agile and Waterfall methodologies, ensuring alignment with business processes. A key aspect of this role includes developing REST clients and services, overseeing production applications, and working with platform-as-a-service deployment environments. You will also implement continuous integration and continuous delivery practices, and work with both container and cloud VM application deployment models. Participation in Agile/Scrum/Kanban development teams and clear communication of technical information to various stakeholders are essential.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in a technical analyst role working with engineers and product managers.
  • 3+ years of experience in an environment building Microservices.
  • Expertise in requirements management, SDLC, business processes, and RFP development.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Solid technical background with experience in software development and web technologies.
  • Expert knowledge in developing REST clients and services.
  • Experience with platform-as-a-service deployment environments.
  • Proficiency in continuous integration and continuous delivery practices.
  • Experience with container and cloud VM application deployment models.
  • Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum/Kanban methodologies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities
