About The Position

407 ETR is seeking a Business System Analyst to join their Information Technology team. The successful candidate will be responsible for working closely with cross-functional teams to analyze, optimize, and enhance our loyalty program offerings.

Requirements

Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst role, working on large project/program implementations.
Post-secondary education in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent education and experience.
Strong understanding of CRM / Loyalty Solutions (good to have Salesforce experience).
Understanding of Mobile Applications (iOS and Android).
Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL).
Experience in JIRA.
Experience managing information technology software or system implementation projects.
Strong analytical mindset with the ability to turn data into actionable insights.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a talent for simplifying complex information.
Proactive and solution-oriented with a track record of tackling challenges effectively.
Excellent relationship building and stakeholder management skills.
Strong understanding of Agile methodology.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document requirements, ensuring loyalty program features align with business objectives.
Act as a liaison between business teams, product managers, and technical teams, ensuring alignment and clear communication.
Provide expertise in the documentation and elicitation of detailed business requirements and their translations into system specific context, as it relates to specific modules, and related mobile applications.
Recommend policies/procedures regarding program specific requirements, communicates change to related areas.
Maintain strong documentation standards and version control across platforms such as Confluence, SharePoint, and Jira.
Review and analyze technical documentation including solution designs, system architecture diagrams, data flow diagrams, API specifications, integration documents, and support handover artifacts.
Validate technical documents for completeness, accuracy, consistency, and alignment with approved business and functional requirements.
Ensure traceability between business requirements, functional specifications, and technical designs.
Identify gaps, ambiguities, or risks in technical documentation and work with technical teams to resolve them.
Support project implementation by preparing and reviewing User Stories, conducting UAT (User Acceptance Testing), and assisting in rollouts
