About The Position

407 ETR is seeking a Business System Analyst to join their Information Technology team. The successful candidate will be responsible for working closely with cross-functional teams to analyze, optimize, and enhance our loyalty program offerings.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst role, working on large project/program implementations.
  • Post-secondary education in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent education and experience.
  • Strong understanding of CRM / Loyalty Solutions (good to have Salesforce experience).
  • Understanding of Mobile Applications (iOS and Android).
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL).
  • Experience in JIRA.
  • Experience managing information technology software or system implementation projects.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to turn data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a talent for simplifying complex information.
  • Proactive and solution-oriented with a track record of tackling challenges effectively.
  • Excellent relationship building and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodology.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document requirements, ensuring loyalty program features align with business objectives.
  • Act as a liaison between business teams, product managers, and technical teams, ensuring alignment and clear communication.
  • Provide expertise in the documentation and elicitation of detailed business requirements and their translations into system specific context, as it relates to specific modules, and related mobile applications.
  • Recommend policies/procedures regarding program specific requirements, communicates change to related areas.
  • Maintain strong documentation standards and version control across platforms such as Confluence, SharePoint, and Jira.
  • Review and analyze technical documentation including solution designs, system architecture diagrams, data flow diagrams, API specifications, integration documents, and support handover artifacts.
  • Validate technical documents for completeness, accuracy, consistency, and alignment with approved business and functional requirements.
  • Ensure traceability between business requirements, functional specifications, and technical designs.
  • Identify gaps, ambiguities, or risks in technical documentation and work with technical teams to resolve them.
  • Support project implementation by preparing and reviewing User Stories, conducting UAT (User Acceptance Testing), and assisting in rollouts
