About The Position

Community Housing Partners (CHP) is seeking a highly organized, relationship-focused Business Support Specialist for its Energy Solutions team. This role involves strengthening relationships with subcontractors, trade allies, nonprofit partners, clients, and internal teams, while also supporting the daily coordination necessary for program operations. Key responsibilities include recruiting and onboarding contractors, managing schedules and workflows, maintaining partner information, collecting feedback, and assisting with business development and outreach. The ideal candidate enjoys connecting with people, managing multiple tasks, and fostering teamwork.

  • Comfortable working with contractors, clients, community partners, and internal teams.
  • Ability to understand and clearly communicate program requirements.
  • Strong computer skills and the ability to learn new systems quickly.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and related business tools.
  • Valid driver's license and driving record that meets CHP insurability requirements.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Dynamics 365, GoFormz, SharePoint, or similar CRM/workflow systems is a plus.
  • Experience with weatherization, construction, energy efficiency, utility programs, grant-funded programs, or nonprofit services is preferred but not required.
  • Associate's degree or higher preferred.
  • Experience working with subcontractors, nonprofit partners, clients, or service delivery teams is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Recruit, onboard, and support subcontractors and trade allies.
  • Maintain consistent, professional communication with external partners and internal teams.
  • Build strong relationships and help create a positive partner experience.
  • Assess contractor capacity and help identify opportunities to strengthen the network.
  • Coordinate schedules, documentation, and workflows across multiple stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date information in Dynamics 365, GoFormz, SharePoint, and other business systems.
  • Track partner needs, feedback, and follow-up items.
  • Identify issues and communicate them to the appropriate internal teams.
  • Maintain contractor and partner pipelines and support business development initiatives.
  • Connect with clients and partners to gather feedback and success stories.
  • Assist with marketing, outreach, meetings, events, and other engagement activities.
  • Support cross-functional projects and continuous process improvements.
