About The Position

The Business Support Specialist plays an integral role supporting our sales team, client relationships, and retail partner relationships. You'll provide administrative and project support across sales presentations, client business reviews, data preparation, customer forms, and system maintenance, helping our sales team move fast and deliver for our clients.

Requirements

• 0–3 years of professional experience, ideally in consumer-packaged goods
• Understanding of the food and beverage distribution network and retail landscape
• Extremely organized and detail-oriented, with a drive to see tasks through to completion
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Proven ability to build and maintain strong, effective relationships with clients, customers, and colleagues
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat

Responsibilities

• Support the sales team with tasks as directed, including sales presentations and sell sheets
• Manage customer daily inquiries and serve as a communication link between clients and the team
• Coordinate programs and pull together sales data reports
• Prepare customer forms, including new item forms, promotional forms, and price increase forms
• Maintain customer systems and ensure data accuracy
• Create internal marketing materials to support the sales team
• Ensure sales materials — samples, sell sheets, specifications, IRCs, and more — are available and stocked
• Take on additional projects and deadlines as assigned by customers or the sales team
