About The Position

Turner Staffing Group is partnering with a client in the Republic, Washington area to identify an experienced Business Support Manager for a direct-hire leadership opportunity. This is a key site leadership position responsible for providing strategic and operational oversight across Finance, Supply Chain, and IT. Reporting to the General Manager and participating as a member of the site senior management team, this individual will help drive financial performance, operational discipline, risk management, and continuous improvement across the organization. The ideal candidate combines strong financial and accounting expertise with the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams in a complex industrial environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in finance, business operations, or administrative management.
  • 5+ years of experience leading employees and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Strong experience with budgeting, forecasting, accounting, financial reporting, materials management, warehousing, and procurement.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial systems, integrated ERP platforms, and business management software.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and make sound business decisions.
  • Strong leadership, analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in mining, heavy industrial, manufacturing, or a comparable operational environment is strongly preferred.
  • Master's degree and/or professional designation such as a CPA is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic and operational leadership across Finance, Supply Chain, and IT.
  • Lead annual operating and capital budgeting processes in partnership with corporate Finance.
  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, accounting processes, and financial reporting.
  • Own the fiscal close process and ensure timely, accurate financial and management reporting.
  • Maintain appropriate controls over fixed assets and ensure compliance with accounting and tax requirements.
  • Strengthen internal controls and support internal auditing and risk-management processes.
  • Oversee procurement, materials management, and supply chain practices with an emphasis on cost, quality, reliability, and compliance.
  • Provide oversight of IT infrastructure and systems supporting site operations.
  • Monitor key performance indicators and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce operational risk.
  • Partner with site and corporate leadership to support informed, data-driven business decisions.
  • Recruit, develop, and lead multidisciplinary teams while building organizational capability.
  • Serve as an active member of the site senior management team and contribute to overall operating strategy.
  • Promote a strong culture of safety, accountability, respect, and continuous improvement.
