About The Position

The Business Support Analyst is responsible for providing analytical and administrative support to the Parts & Services Business Planning team to identify opportunities and move the Parts & Service business forward. This role is a 12-month fixed-term contract.

Requirements

  • Post-secondary education required
  • 1+ years’ experience in related role
  • Expert-level knowledge of MS Access, Excel (charting, graphing, pivot tables, and report generation), VBA (macros)
  • Solid working knowledge of Word, PowerPoint, Business Objects
  • Analytical and Problem solving skills
  • Ability to present information effectively via multiple formats such as PowerPoint, email or scorecards

Nice To Haves

  • Automotive experience would be beneficial
  • Predictive modelling/machine learning
  • AS 400 experience beneficial

Responsibilities

  • Create, analyze and distribute various reports based on review of eComposite, Financial Statement Analysis, Webi, Profit/Loss opportunities, national & dealer KPI dashboards.
  • Conduct end-to-end analysis that includes data gathering and requirements specification, processing, analysis, ongoing deliverables, and presentations.
  • Make business recommendations with effective presentations of findings at multiple levels of stakeholders through visual displays of quantitative information.
  • Track and support monthly continuous improvement (PDCA) activities for SME group and promote important Honda initiatives and agenda to dealer network via dealer bulletin, presentations, or dealer care communications.
  • Assist with budgeting/vendor invoices and coordinate day to day reporting with our vendors and internal departments across the Customer Service division.
  • Perform general administrative duties including Invoicing, Vendor Management, and Creating & Publishing Dealer Bulletins.
  • Collaborate with IT partners and other Data Science teams to build out the data environment and analytics work platforms.
  • Ad hoc requests such as Preparing & providing materials for presentations.
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
