This position will lead the agency's strategic planning and policy efforts; coordinate and submit agency productivity and statistical reports including Comprehensive Performance Measures Report; be responsible for oversight, implementation and continual improvements and updates to the agency's standard work process; act on behalf of the Director and Deputy Director, when requested, and may include attendance at Governor's Cabinet Meetings and external meetings to speak on behalf of the agency; and conduct special assignments as necessary. This position may participate in projects and other duties as needed and assigned by the Deputy Director. This position may offer the ability to work remotely, in Arizona, to include in-office hoteling, based on the department’s business needs and continual meeting of expected performance measures. Must have the ability to commute and utilize Phoenix office hoteling space as needed. The State of Arizona strives for a work culture that affords employees flexibility, autonomy, and trust.
