The primary purpose of this job is to provide leadership and direction for the Business Solutions team by overseeing daily operations, ensuring the successful execution of business and technical initiatives, and managing vendor relationships. The role drives efficiency, innovation, and process improvement through effective collaboration, while developing the team to deliver high-quality solutions that support organizational goals.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and related business applications.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, or 5+ years of experience in business/systems analysis, project management, or related role.
  • 2+ years of experience in a management or people-leader position.
  • Proven experience implementing new products, vendor solutions, or platform requirements.
  • Experience writing and enforcing policies, procedures, and functional requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the Business Solutions team, including Specialists and Senior Specialists, by providing coaching, mentorship, and development opportunities to maximize individual and collective performance.
  • Conduct regular one-on-one and team meetings to review goals, initiatives, and performance metrics, ensuring alignment with departmental and organizational priorities.
  • Oversee onboarding, training, and development of new team members, fostering a culture of accountability and growth.
  • Manage vendor relationships by monitoring performance, budgets, and quality standards, while driving cost and process efficiencies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional departments as the Business Solutions subject matter expert, providing strategic input and solutions to support business needs.
  • Lead process improvement initiatives, including the development, documentation, and enforcement of policies, procedures, templates, and job aids.
  • Oversee projects and ensure deliverables meet established timelines, budgets, and quality expectations.
  • Analyze team and departmental performance metrics, including KPIs and productivity, to identify trends and drive continuous improvement.
  • Provide leadership in implementing new products, vendors, and platform requirements.
  • Support organizational goals by ensuring timely communication, stakeholder updates, and transparent collaboration across all levels of the business.
  • Promote a shared sense of purpose and teamwork through clear communication strategies, encouraging engagement and productivity across the team.
  • Provide regular updates to the Director of Business Solutions on team performance, key initiatives, and identified risks or opportunities.
  • Stay informed of current policies and procedures.
  • Continued professional development through ongoing training and education.
