Business Solutions Analyst

HC3•Irondale, AL

About The Position

The Business Solutions Analyst helps HC3 turn business needs into practical, well-defined technology solutions before and throughout the development lifecycle. By improving clarity around business outcomes, workflows, requirements, and user expectations, this role helps reduce rework, improve solution quality, accelerate delivery, and strengthen alignment among business stakeholders, development, quality assurance, operations, and leadership. The position leads business discovery, translates needs into delivery-ready requirements and workflow documentation, and creates mid-fidelity wireframes, screen concepts, user flows, and functional storyboards to validate proposed solutions. It partners with cross-functional teams to clarify expected behavior, edge cases, dependencies, testability, user acceptance testing needs, and release readiness. The role also supports prioritization and process improvement by weighing business value, operational practicality, and complexity. Work is performed in an HC3 office or an approved remote office space. Fully remote employees may occasionally travel to the main Irondale, Alabama office for critical team meetings. The role requires occasional travel, up to 10%, generally within driving distance and without overnight stays. It involves using a computer for extended periods while sitting or standing. This is a full-time role of five eight-hour days, at least 40 hours per week, typically Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM local time, with a one-hour lunch break. Hours may occasionally vary based on stakeholder availability, project needs, or release activities.
