About The Position
Licking/Knox Goodwill Industries, Inc. provides training, employment, and support services to individuals with disabilities and other barriers to employment. This role is responsible for ensuring government regulatory requirements are met, working with managers and employees to determine ability levels for projects, completing required reports, securing necessary medical and other information to prove employee disability levels, providing ongoing training on regulations and documentation, and acting as a point of contact for regulatory inquiries.
Requirements
- 2-year degree in Human Services or related field and/or 4-5 years’ experience working with people with disabilities. Experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Meet background and security requirements.
- Valid Driver’s License and meet driving requirements of our insurance company.
Responsibilities
- Ensuring government regulatory requirements are being met.
- Working with managers and employees to help determine level of ability for the work to be performed on our government & commercial projects.
- Completing all required reports to support the projects.
- Securing all required medical & other information needed to prove level of employee disability.
- Providing on-going training on regulations and how to prepare required documentation.
- Acting as point of contact for any regulatory inquiries with regards to this business unit.
