About The Position

The Canadian Resident Matching Service (CaRMS) is seeking a Business Services Analyst to build and maintain strong partner relationships, facilitate match-related discussions, and identify partner needs that support organizational growth. This role serves as a key liaison between CaRMS and its partner organizations, ensuring alignment of objectives and fostering collaborative, value-driven opportunities. This is a full-time, permanent, fully remote position. The successful candidate must be based in Canada and have the ability and willingness to travel as required. The language requirement for this role is bilingual (English and French). Occasional overtime may be required to meet critical deadlines.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, management, business analysis, economics, public administration, communications or a related discipline.
  • 5+ years in external relations, stakeholder engagement, partnership development, or related roles.
  • Experience in medical education, preferably within a faculty of medicine, medical school, residency program, or related environment of the CaRMS match process and medical education landscape.
  • Experience in market analysis and relationship management.
  • Proficiency with digital collaboration tools (Microsoft 365, Asana, etc.).
  • Bilingual (English/French).

  • Master’s degree in related discipline.
  • Credentials demonstrating competency in analytics, design thinking, business analysis.
  • Ability (or interest to learn) modern AI‑assisted design and analysis tools to structure partner feedback, identify patterns, and produce clear, actionable insights that inform product discussions.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with partner organizations and members.
  • Lead conversations with partners to understand needs, challenges, and emerging trends.
  • Represent the organization at external meetings, working groups, and industry events to strengthen relationships and gather market intelligence.
  • Collect, synthesize, and document partner insights in a clear, structured way.
  • Translate external feedback into evidence-based inputs that inform product discovery, prioritization discussions, and roadmap planning.
  • Identify recurring themes, unmet needs, and opportunity areas across partners and the broader market.
  • Work closely with Product, Delivery, and Leadership to ensure partner perspectives are well understood and considered in planning and decision-making.
  • Support product teams by providing contextual insight, validation, and partner impact analysis—without owning product decisions.
  • Act as a trusted advisor by bringing stakeholder and market perspectives into cross-functional discussions.
  • Identify opportunities for new partnerships or enhancements that align with product direction and organizational strategy.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to leadership on partnership approaches, ecosystem positioning, and sector dynamics.
