About The Position
The Wisconsin State Journal is seeking a business reporter to cover the business of healthcare in Madison. The reporter will be responsible for both daily news and longer investigative pieces, utilizing multimedia elements to explain complex issues.
Requirements
- A valid driver’s license and vehicle is required.
- Located in Madison.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with taking and editing video is ideal
- Familiarity with analytics tools is recommended
- Two years of experience in journalism preferred
- Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred

Responsibilities
- Write daily stories and in-depth enterprise business stories
- Produce video, maps and graphics that can help readers understand complex issues
- Help with general assignment and breaking news assignments as needed.
