About The Position

The Business Relationship Manager at SkyOne Federal Credit Union is a pivotal role focused on driving organic growth through proactive, field-based business development. This position is dedicated to acquiring new business relationships, generating accounts, and expanding core business deposits by fostering strong financial connections with both prospective and existing members. As a highly outbound individual contributor, the manager will spend most of their time outside the branch engaging in networking, cold calling, and attending community events to build rapport. Delivering on-site presentations and leveraging referrals are key aspects of this role, ensuring alignment with SkyOne's Service and Sales Model. Additionally, the Business Relationship Manager will collaborate closely with internal departments to provide seamless onboarding and exceptional member experiences. While this position does not involve direct people management responsibilities, it plays a critical role in enhancing the financial lives of our business members.

Requirements

  • Minimum four‑year business degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Minimum three to five years of experience in business banking, business development, or relationship‑based sales.
  • Demonstrated success in field‑based business development and outbound prospecting.
  • Strong consultative sales, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Highly self‑motivated with strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and work independently with limited supervision.
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Working knowledge of business deposit products and financial services.
  • Must have a high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations. Position requires demonstrated poise, tact, and diplomacy.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary range of $97,600 to $120,000
