The Business Relationship Manager (BRM) Leader (Manager II) leads a team of business relationship professionals who serve as the primary strategic liaisons between county agencies and central IST services. This role ensures that county departments have the technology, data infrastructure, and process improvements required to deliver public services efficiently. A critical component of the role is building and sustaining strong, trust-based relationships with stakeholders at all levels – county staff to administrators - of the organization. The role facilitates the BRM function, which requires documenting, maintaining, and continuously evolving multi-year capability roadmaps across county departments and operational functions, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture, data strategies, and Federal, State and Local regulatory considerations. The BRM Manager also provides thought leadership on emerging trends, such as advancements in technology capabilities, and advanced analytics, helping the business proactively leverage technology innovation to remain at pace with evolving constituent needs. To be successful, the BRM Leader must have the ability to balance and advance high-level business-technology strategic planning, team leadership, and escalation management to maximize productivity and return on the county's technology investments.
