CE&S is responsible for all customer-facing services, including consulting, customer success, and support across Microsoft's comprehensive portfolio. The Unified Services Group (USG) spearheads the evolution of Microsoft's services portfolio, aiming to deliver a connected, outcome-driven experience that accelerates customer value throughout the technology lifecycle. USG integrates foundational services with specialized offerings, such as Value Acceleration Services (VAS), to enhance adoption, optimize performance, and ensure sustained customer success via proactive, expert-led engagements tied to business and technical outcomes. The team's mission is to streamline the services portfolio, align delivery with measurable outcomes, and scale impact across solution areas, enabling customers to transition from intent to sustained value realization while fostering growth for Microsoft. The Business Program Manager (BPM) is instrumental in driving the execution and adoption of the VAS portfolio for the AI Business Solutions (ABS) Solution Area. This role translates strategy into scalable programs, field-ready initiatives, and quantifiable business impact. Key responsibilities include activating VAS offers in the market, ensuring seamless alignment across Sales, Delivery, and Go-to-Market teams, and spearheading programs that boost customer adoption, optimize performance, and expand the usage of Microsoft Cloud and AI solutions. The BPM ensures portfolio priorities are effectively operationalized through driving field readiness and seller activation, executing adoption and go-to-market programs, integrating customer and field feedback for continuous improvement, and delivering insight-driven performance tracking to optimize outcomes. Success in this role hinges on the ability to bridge strategy and execution, facilitating consistent, high-quality delivery of VAS offerings that accelerate customer value and contribute directly to Microsoft's growth. Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Operations, Finance, or related field AND 4+ years experience in program management, process management, or process improvement OR equivalent experience.
  • Proven ability to translate strategy into executable programs, manage multiple priorities, and deliver results in complex environments.
  • Experience working across Sales, Delivery, Engineering, and GTM teams, with the ability to drive alignment without direct authority.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience using data (e.g., Excel, Power BI, or similar tools) to track performance, identify trends, and inform decisions.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with senior stakeholders, drive accountability, and maintain alignment through structured operating rhythms.
  • Ability to identify root causes, simplify complex processes, and drive ongoing improvements based on business and customer insights.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's Degree in Business, Operations, Finance, or related field AND 6+ years experience in program management, process management, or process improvement OR Bachelor's Degree in Business, Operations, Finance, or related field AND 8+ years experience in program management, process management, or process improvement OR equivalent experience.
  • Experience in cloud services, AI, or enterprise technology solutions, particularly in adoption, customer success, or services delivery models.

  • Execute strategic initiatives across the ABS VAS portfolio, translating business priorities into scalable programs and deliverables.
  • Drive end-to-end execution of adoption, activation, and growth programs aligned to portfolio goals.
  • Manage timelines, dependencies, and risks to ensure consistent delivery at scale.
  • Enable field teams with clear positioning, plays, and readiness materials to drive VAS adoption.
  • Activate go-to-market motions that improve pipeline generation and conversion.
  • Partner with Sales and CSU teams to ensure effective execution in-market.
  • Align stakeholders across Sales, Delivery, Engineering, Finance, and GTM to ensure cohesive execution.
  • Drive clarity on roles, handoffs, and ownership to reduce friction and accelerate outcomes.
  • Act as a key connector between strategy, field, and delivery teams.
  • Design and execute programs that accelerate customer adoption, usage, and value realization.
  • Identify opportunities to expand VAS across existing customers and solution areas.
  • Ensure programs are aligned to customer needs and business priorities.
  • Analyze performance trends, field feedback, and customer signals to assess program effectiveness.
  • Deliver insights that inform decision-making and continuous improvement.
  • Track key business indicators (e.g., adoption, pipeline, conversion, impact) to drive accountability.
  • Incorporate field and customer feedback into program and offer refinement.
  • Identify gaps in execution or adoption and drive corrective actions.
  • Contribute to improving the scalability, consistency, and clarity of the VAS portfolio.
