About The Position

SAP Industries, Inc. seeks a Business Processes Principal Consultant at our Tempe, AZ location to drive business consulting by translating the customer’s vision into solutions. This role involves mapping business processes to solution requirements, driving change management for business transformation, and supporting end-to-end solution design and configuration across various platforms (on-premise, cloud, and hybrid) using state-of-the-art methodologies. The consultant will plan customer solution landscape transitions, drive the deployment of best practice business processes for specific Lines of Business, and support pre-sales activities. Additional responsibilities include performing solution reviews and feasibility studies, supporting escalated projects, and occasionally taking on leadership roles in service delivery or as a sub-project lead. The role also involves supporting line managers in people development, delivering customer workshops and trainings, and supporting partner-led projects to ensure ecosystem and customer success. Furthermore, the consultant will drive the evolution of the services portfolio for their solution area, potentially owning services and initiating portfolio updates. They will also drive the creation of templates, common practices, and service delivery artifacts to optimize business processes and mentor other business process consultants.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field of study and seven (7) years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation.
  • Alternatively, a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field of study and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
  • Designing and implementing Customer Relationship Management, Customer Trade Promotion Management, and Retail Execution and Direct Store Delivery including requirements gathering and testing.
  • Strategic deployment of CRM/Trade Promotion Management (TPM) solution utilizing a standardized global template approach.
  • Developing unified, adaptable system architecture.
  • Leveraging templated methodology to accelerate rollout, minimize localization complexities, and promote organizational scalability.
  • Implementing configurable framework supporting regional variations.
  • Structured Query Language and Object-Oriented Programming Methodology.

Responsibilities

  • Map business processes to solution requirements.

  • Occasionally take over responsibility as a (sub-)project lead or team lead for a service delivery.

  • Drive the evolution of the relevant section of the services portfolio for the respective solution area and key related areas; can be owner of a service and/or initiates updates to the portfolio.
  • Drive the creation of templates, common practices and supporting service delivery artifacts in order to optimize business processes.
  • Mentor business process consultants.
