About The Position

In your pivotal role as Business Process Manager, you will step into a vital administrative leadership position where your expertise will directly ensure the operational effectiveness and efficiency of the department. You will lead and mentor senior administrative assistants, driving continuity, standardization, and optimization across all administrative workflows. Your leadership will be instrumental in shaping the department's success. In addition to leading the team, you will provide essential administrative and operational support to the Associate Nursing Officer, becoming a trusted resource for multiple entity-wide programs. You will own the department’s financial processes, including purchasing, contract routing, expense processing, and budget coordination. These critical functions depend on your attention to detail and organizational expertise to ensure compliance and timeliness. Your role is integral to maintaining the department’s daily operations and supporting nursing leadership. With current gaps in workload coverage due to team vacancies, your contributions will be key to mitigating operational risks and ensuring smooth, uninterrupted processes. Joining our team as the Business Process Manager means you will play a central role in maintaining service standards and keeping the department running at its best.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent experience)
  • 3 years of relevant experience, ideally in a healthcare setting
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Strong experience in Calendar Management
  • Clerical/Administrative (Advanced): Clerical/Administration is a skill which includes most clerical and administrative functions typically carried out by secretaries, administrators and others who perform a clerical role. Among the duties are: Ad Hoc Reporting, Calendar Maintenance, Data Entry, Document Duplication, Document Filing and Maintenance, Document Preparation, Employee Record Maintenance, Employee Time Recording, Faxing and Electronic Mailing, Inventory Management, Mail Sorting and Distribution, Meeting Coordination and Scheduling, Message Management, Receptionist Tasks, Special Projects, Spreadsheet Preparation, Travel Arrangements, and Word Processing and Typing.
  • Operations Planning (Intermediate): Anticipates resource needs to meet objectives and implements appropriate processes.
  • Business Results (Intermediate): Ability to achieve business results while focusing on quality, customer satisfaction, and stewardship.
  • Compliance (Intermediate): Understanding the rules, regulations, sanctions and other statutory requirements, guidelines and instructions relating to governing bodies and organizations, both internally and externally.
  • Human Resources Policies and Procedures (Intermediate): Knowledge, adherence and application of human resources policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and Improve Processes: Leverage data to identify opportunities for improvement in business workflows, financial practices, and information systems. You’ll work with stakeholders to validate changes and drive impactful solutions.
  • Collaborate Across Teams: Build strong relationships with key stakeholders and act as a liaison to align business needs with operational objectives.
  • Own Financial Transactions: Take full responsibility for managing purchasing, contract routing, expense processing, and budget coordination. You’ll ensure these financial functions are completed accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with all regulations.
  • Support Leadership: Provide direct administrative support to the Associate Nursing Officer, contributing to strategic initiatives and acting as a key resource for entity-wide programs.
  • Lead Administrative Operations: Mentor and oversee senior administrative assistants, fostering a culture of collaboration, efficiency, and professional growth. You’ll ensure workflows are standardized and optimized for maximum impact.
  • Drive Success: Monitor budget processes, manage financial reporting, and deliver high-quality administrative services that keep the department thriving.
  • Ensures the most effective operation of the area through program development and management, process improvement and coordination of processes across functions.
  • Manage and support business functions within the department
  • Ensure that strategic goals are met, analyze and apply strategic elements effectively.
  • Collect data, evaluate information, present options and recommendations, clearly communicate decisions, and collaborate with others on team.
  • Develop communications that support strategic and operational improvement plans to include presentations, proposals, policy and procedures, and business summaries.
