About The Position

Galloway Company, a leader in the dairy processing industry, is seeking a Business Process Manager to lead a cross-functional implementation team. This role is responsible for enhancing, optimizing, and creating business systems and processes to support business needs and growth. The manager will identify and prioritize system/process opportunities, oversee the Business Process Specialist, and ensure projects meet quality, reliability, schedule, and cost requirements.

Requirements

Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Operations Management or related field
5+ years experience managing projects with demonstrated success
Strong understanding of formal project management methodologies required
Communicates effectively and timely, verbally and in writing, to a diverse audience
Excellent time-management with ability to manage schedules and meet deadlines
Facilitate an overall work environment of mutual respect and collaboration
Ability to manage multiple projects and initiatives with minimal oversight
Team oriented, highly collaborative, and excellent interpersonal skills

Nice To Haves

Certifications in Project Management preferred
Experience with Continuous Improvement Project Management Methods a Plus

Responsibilities

Lead a multidisciplinary team to deliver key projects that balance operations and information technology solutions.
Plan, monitor, prioritize, and manage internal projects for systems and processes using formal project management methodologies.
Provide data analysis and testing code to support business systems/processes.
Provide leadership and execute testing and troubleshooting of new software using data analysis.
Identify business process solutions that support operational needs while minimizing customization.
Ensure project results meet requirements regarding quality, reliability, schedule, and cost.
Proactively communicate and document project issues, changes, or risks.
Hold the team and themselves accountable for project deliverables.
Define project scope, goals, and deliverables with leadership and stakeholders.
Adjust to changing project scope and ensure agreement on go-forward plans.
Utilize design sessions to gather cross-functional input.
Conduct project Lessons Learned sessions.
Work with external contractors to coordinate their work.
Provide training and coaching for successful implementation and turnover of processes/systems.
Lead, develop, and coach the Business Process Specialist.
Support the food safety management system & employee safety initiatives.
Provide support for existing and new processes/systems and facilitate problem-solving for identified gaps.
