About The Position

We are looking for a Business Process Expert (x|f|m) for Sartorius Stedim Biotech GmbH in the Process Improvements & Compliance department of Service BPS. You will be responsible for the further development of our global service business processes, from order entry and operational planning to invoicing. As part of international projects, you will drive the optimization, harmonization, and implementation of processes and necessary systems across the company. Take our service processes to the next level — strategically, customer-focused and effectively. The team looks forward to working with you to make this happen. This position is available for fulltime. It is a hybrid role requiring some days on site at our headquarters in Göttingen with the opportunity to work some days remotely.

Requirements

  • University degree in economics or engineering (e.g. industrial engineering) or completed relevant vocational training with practical experience
  • Professional experience in a similar position
  • Experience in the application of project management methods and tools for process analysis and improvement, such as Six Sigma, Lean, and agile project management
  • High affinity for change processes and the ability to convince and inspire others
  • Ability to empathize with the requirements of the local operational service business teams while keeping a focus on global process harmonization
  • Very good written and spoken English skills; German skills are an advantage
  • Intercultural competence and willing to travel internationally (approx. 10%)
  • Enjoy working in an international team

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in technically oriented service and relevant service management software as well as good SAP skills (e.g. SAP S/4 HANA modules CS, SD, MM) are an advantage
  • German skills are an advantage

Responsibilities

  • Implement end-to-end service processes as part of company integrations and international rollouts
  • Focus on service contract management and EDI connections between customers and Sartorius along the service order processes
  • Providing support in interdisciplinary and global projects as well as in system rollouts
  • Collecting process and system requirements from operational services, collaborating with other departments on implementation, and ensure sustainable process documentation
  • Proactively advise and train local service units on our global processes and applications
  • Conduct training and optimize existing training materials
  • Drive system improvements (e.g., SAP, Service1) and process optimizations and implement changes
  • Identifying business requirements for process optimization in dialogue with our local key users
