About The Position

We are looking for a Product Manager PAT (x|f|m) within Sartorius Stedim Biotech GmbH at our Headquarters in Goettingen, Germany. In this role, you will be accountable for the success of the PAT (Process Analytical Technologies) product portfolio and you own decisions for all products – from cradle to grave. Your success will be driven by cross-functional alignment along a broad range of bioprocess applications. The product management team consists of five professionals and we are looking forward to shaping the future with you. This position is available for full-time. It is a hybrid role requiring some days on site at our headquarters in Göttingen with the opportunity to work some days remotely.

Requirements

  • University or engineering degree in biotechnology, natural science, business administration or related field and proven years of industry experience
  • Knowledge & experience in the field of Process Automation & PAT
  • Proven track record of working with cross-functional teams to drive success and results
  • Several years of working experience in product management, marketing or relevant field
  • Strong verbal and written negotiation- and communication skills, ability to present with high impact to senior and top management
  • Highly organized & results orientated personality with excellent networking abilities
  • Excellent proficiency in English both in writing and oral, German is a plus
  • Willing to travel (approx. 40-50%)

  • MBA or additional post-graduation business-focused degree preferred

Responsibilities

  • Derive, communicate & execute product vision to drive the development and growth of Sartorius’ PAT product portfolio in alignment with corporate goals and priorities
  • Act as the owner of the portfolio, influencing decision-making for all product related topics and be the strongest advocate of the portfolio, both internally and externally
  • Build & leverage a sophisticated market intelligence for the portfolio to support decision-making and to understand market & industry trends as well as customer needs in details
  • Plan and execute product launches and product life cycle management based on business plans
  • Create marketing strategies under consideration of regional and application requirements and ensuring commercial competitiveness
  • Work with customers, field-based stakeholders and internally to define and refine product requirement specifications for new products and product generations
