We are looking for a Business Process Expert (x|f|m) Lead to Cash for the BPM Customer Engagement department at Sartorius Corporate Administration GmbH. In this role, you are responsible for the efficient design of the entire Lead-to-Cash process. You will take on process optimization, ensure data quality, and successfully implement projects to improve customer experiences and accelerate cash flow. This position is available for full-time. It is a hybrid role requiring some days on site at our headquarters in Göttingen with the opportunity to work some days remotely.

  • Map, standardize, and continuously improve end-to-end O2C processes
  • Define and implement O2C policies, SOPs, controls, and SLAs; ensure compliance with tax, e-invoicing, VAT/GST, and SOX requirements
  • Identify and eliminate bottlenecks; introduce automation
  • Conduct root-cause analyses for disputes and billing errors and implement corrective actions
  • Take responsibility for data quality and governance in the O2C area
  • Establish data standards and approval processes and develop KPI dashboards in collaboration with Master Data and IT
  • Use analytics to prioritize improvements and guide decision-making
  • Lead O2C projects (ERP/CRM enhancements, e-invoicing rollouts) regarding scope, timeline, budget, and risks, and ensure milestone delivery using Agile or waterfall methods
  • Ensure stakeholder alignment across Sales, Finance, Customer Service, Logistics, Compliance, and IT
  • Execute change management measures (communication, training, adoption tracking) to round off your area of responsibility
  • Successfully completed degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or a comparable field
  • Proven several years of experience in O2C/AR/Order Management, Shared Services, or Finance Operations with demonstrable process optimization and project implementation
  • Solid ERP knowledge, ideally SAP and CRM (SFDC)
  • Extensive experience in project management, ideally complemented by relevant certifications (PMP/Prince2/Scrum)
  • Ability to deliver compelling presentations and negotiate effectively across diverse stakeholder groups
  • Capability to break down complex problems into manageable components and develop structured solutions
  • Skill in tailoring messages clearly and appropriately for different target audiences.
  • Proven experience in designing and conducting workshops to drive process improvements and decision-making
  • Fluent English skills and very good German skills complete your profile
