About The Position

The Business Process Excellence (BPE) Director helps develop and execute the plans that will allow us to realize our vision for business process excellence – namely, ‘to be the company recognized as the leader in how business gets done.’ Well run business processes and systems/tools can accelerate profitable growth by empowering and enabling people to make better, faster choices (while reducing the individual burden required to make those choices). The BPE Director will lead the businesses on this transformation journey by building the key capabilities (processes, people and systems / tools) needed to deliver their strategies, goals and priorities. The BPE Director plays a key role in effectively translating transformation goals and strategies into Division and Product Leadership execution plans. He or she leads the transformation journey in partnership with business leaders by building key capabilities needed to deliver business outcomes. This position must be located in Kingsport.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a business or technical field
• 5+ years relevant work experience
• Commercial or Functional leadership experience
• Experience leading initiatives of high complexity with a diversity of stakeholders
• Ability to develop and execute business process strategies that deliver business objectives by specific business organization
• Ability to lead change
• Ability to influence across Commercial and Functional organizations.
• Builds cross-functional relationships, facilitates alignment on desired outcomes.
• Ability to collaborate with employees at all levels to drive results.
• Strong interpersonal communication and organizational skills
• Strong analytical, implementation and follow-through skills
• Ability to prioritize and focus the team

Responsibilities

• As directed by the DLT or SBU LT, leads projects or initiatives critical to the Business Success
• Partners with business leaders to co-develop, enable, influence, and support Business transformation priorities
• Act as the Business Process Excellence Leader for the business bringing process management to Divisional Leadership Team (DLT) choices. Holds the full cross-functional DLT accountable
• Facilitates Division Leadership Team meetings.
• Utilizes change management processes and tools to realize business process excellence and ensure changes “stick” in a way that accelerates profitable growth (including ongoing mentoring and coaching)
• Communicates within and across functions and businesses for alignment on priorities and commercial results
• Shares effective business practices across divisions
• Demonstrates business acumen to understand the business challenges and influence strategic business choices to deliver on financial expectations
