About The Position

SAIC is seeking a Business Process and Operations Specialist to aid the customer organization's Chief of Program Support and Director's Action Group (DAG) in managing program office-level processes and products central to business and acquisition operations. This position requires a daily presence with high-level customers and provides advice to program office leadership on program office governance documents, training programs, communication, management information system support and procurement, and records management plans. This position requires an active TS/SCI with Poly to start and is located in Chantilly, VA.

Responsibilities

  • Execute SPO training program for over 50 Government employees. The training program includes, but is not limited to a quarterly orientation course, a web-based SPO learning center, and routine brown bag sessions for topics deemed timely or of special focus.
  • Collaborate with customer Chief of Program Support to process routine and out-of-cycle updates to the SPO Program Management Plan (PMP), which defines the organizational structure, mission, goals, responsibilities, and management controls used for the management of SPO programs.
  • Assist responsible offices with maintenance of existing and creation of new SPO Operational Instructions, which are key documents used to capture and define the way the program office does business.
  • Facilitate permissions management on mail groups, web sites, and shared drives.
  • Facilitate procurement of management information/IT hardware, software, and services to maintain continuous SPO operations and liaises with COMM personnel to resolve requests with minimal input from the customer.
  • Plan and organize quarterly SPO all hands forum.
  • Serve as backup to DAG lead in receipt, tracking, coordinating, and submission of TIER taskings.
