About The Position

Information Technology Strategies, Inc. is a government IT solutions provider servicing commercial and government initiative in various parts of the United States. We are currently seeking a Business Process Analyst to work for our company. The client agency is Defense Logistics Agency. This role will lead use case identification and prioritization activities with mission stakeholders, gather and document requirements for technology integration pilots, and facilitate stakeholder workshops and coordination meetings. The analyst will translate mission pain points into technology capability requirements, develop business cases and value propositions for technology insertions, and define measurable objectives and success criteria for pilot initiatives. Additionally, the role involves coordinating between technical teams and operational stakeholders, documenting operational workflows and identifying friction points for automation, and supporting governance review processes with business impact analysis. The analyst will develop metrics frameworks for measuring pilot and production outcomes, create stakeholder communications and status reports, and manage requirements traceability throughout the integration lifecycle. Support for leadership alignment activities with briefings and documentation, facilitation of lessons learned and continuous improvement processes, and ensuring pilot scope discipline and clear exit/transition decisions are also key responsibilities.

Requirements

  • Must possess IT-II security clearance or have a current National Agency Check with Local Agency Check and Credit Check (NACLC). (Basic Federal Clearance requirements are U.S. Citizenship, clear criminal history check, no recent or pending bankruptcies)
  • Active Secret clearance; TS/SCI preferred
  • Ability to obtain Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Entry on Duty (EOD) Suitability
  • BS in Business Administration, Information Systems, or related degree; or HS Diploma and 7+ years of directly relevant experience
  • 5+ years of experience as a business analyst or requirements analyst
  • Strong requirements gathering and documentation skills
  • Experience supporting federal cybersecurity programs
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity operations and mission environments
  • Experience with use case development and user story creation
  • Knowledge of business process analysis and improvement methodologies
  • Excellent facilitation and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience with project coordination and tracking
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency with business analysis tools and techniques
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Background in technology assessment or capability evaluation
  • Experience with agile requirements management
  • Familiarity with cost-benefit analysis and ROI calculations

  • DoD 8140 IAT Level II
