About The Position

Guidehouse is seeking an organized and detail‑driven Business Process Analyst to support a federal client’s growing automation program. In this consulting‑focused role, you will help streamline business operations through process analysis, automation support, and structured change management. You will collaborate with stakeholders across business and technical teams to ensure automation initiatives are well‑planned, well‑documented, and successfully adopted.

Requirements

  • An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED "SECRET" Federal or DoD security clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business management fields
  • ONE (1) or more years of experience in IT, auditing, accounting, consulting, business operations, or data analysis
  • Foundational understanding of automation concepts (RPA, workflows, AI)

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting federal or DoW environments
  • Exposure to automation tools such as UiPath or Power Automate
  • Familiarity with change management processes
  • Understanding of automation governance, compliance, or audit requirements
  • Experience coordinating across cross‑functional teams
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem‑solving skills
  • Ability to manage structured documentation with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, SharePoint, Teams, and collaboration tools

Responsibilities

  • Partner with business users to gather, validate, and document requirements for automation opportunities.
  • Support testing activities, including coordinating and documenting User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Assist with workflow evaluations, data preparation, and review of automation outputs.
  • Assist with developing clear process documentation, SOPs, and training materials.
  • Support intake, tracking, and documentation for automation change requests aligned with governance and audit requirements.
  • Maintain structured records, logs, and SharePoint repositories.
  • Coordinate reviews and approvals with Change Managers, Developers, Testers, and functional stakeholders.
  • Communicate progress, timelines, and impacts related to automation efforts.
  • Support onboarding, user communications, and training for automation tools and processes.
