About The Position

We are seeking a highly analytical and tech-savvy Business Process Analyst to join our Record to Report (R2R) team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment and has deep expertise in finance applications, automation, and compliance. You will play a key role in optimizing financial processes, supporting enterprise systems, and ensuring regulatory compliance across the organization. Position requires to be in San Diego full time, 5 days a week This position is not eligible for Qualcomm immigration sponsorship.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Operations, or related field and 2+ years of related business process analysis experience.
  • Associate's degree in Business, Engineering, Operations, or related field and 4+ years of related business process analysis experience.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent and 5+ years of related business process analysis experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Computer Science, AI/ML, Applied Mathematics, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in business process analysis or finance systems in a tech-driven environment.
  • Hands-on experience with Oracle EBS, Oracle Fusion, Oracle EPM, and Oracle Cloud Analytics.
  • Strong understanding of financial applications, US GAAP, SOX compliance, and close cycle processes.
  • Proven experience supporting and executing month-end close activities.
  • Experience with automation tools and data analytics platforms.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Work San Diego, California hours
  • Experience in high-growth tech companies or SaaS environments.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies or DevOps practices.
  • Exposure to AI/ML applications in finance and operations.
  • Knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Experience with SAP financial systems is a strong plus.
  • Working knowledge of SQL for data extraction and analysis is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and enhance finance-related business processes across General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and other financial modules.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for Oracle EBS, Oracle Fusion, Oracle EPM, and Oracle Cloud Analytics platforms.
  • Lead automation and digital transformation initiatives using AI/ML and modern analytics tools.
  • Translate business requirements into functional specifications and system configurations.
  • Ensure financial systems and processes comply with US GAAP and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements.
  • Provide hands-on system support for monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting.
  • Bring direct experience with month-end close activities, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.
  • Support system upgrades, integrations, and user acceptance testing in a cloud-first environment.
  • Develop dashboards and reporting tools to enable real-time financial insights.
  • Provide training, documentation, and ongoing support to end-users and stakeholders.
  • Partner with our IT and OneFinance stakeholders to support R2R systems.
