About The Position

The Business Process & Data Analytics Analyst supports the continuous improvement of Quanta’s business processes, reporting capabilities, and data-driven decision-making across the organization. This role combines business process analysis with advanced data analytics and reporting to improve operational visibility, project execution, and strategic project management decision-making. Working closely with Major Projects Reporting Leadership, Accounting, Project Management, Project Controls, and Operating Units (OpU’s), this position analyzes and improves integrated business processes while developing advanced analytics and reporting solutions. The role focuses on aligning enterprise systems, data sources, and reporting frameworks to deliver actionable insights that support operational efficiency and project performance. The Business Process Analyst partners with cross-functional teams to define requirements, develop scalable reporting frameworks, and implement business intelligence solutions that enable leadership to monitor project health, identify risks, and drive continuous improvement initiatives across the enterprise. Impact: Under the direction of Major Projects Reporting leadership, this position drives efficiency in business processes and reporting by harmonizing business practices, improving data quality, and standardizing major projects reporting and analytical tools across the organization. Through the integration of business processes and advanced analytics solutions, this role improves resource utilization, project transparency, and organizational flexibility while maximizing the value of enterprise systems and business intelligence platforms.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Information Systems, Computer Science, or Data Analytics.
  • 5+ years of experience in business process analysis, reporting, or data analytics.
  • Experience working with enterprise systems and business intelligence tools.
  • Advanced Power BI experience including:
  • Data modeling
  • DAX
  • Power Query
  • Dashboard development
  • Experience integrating multiple data sources to create unified data models.
  • Strong Microsoft Office proficiency.
  • Experience with enterprise systems such as:
  • JD Edwards
  • EcoSys
  • Procore
  • Primavera P6
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform tools (Forms, Lists, SharePoint, Power Automate).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities

Responsibilities

  • Provide Power BI subject matter expertise, to minimize level of effort at Operating Units that will free up much needed time during peak periods to spend on review rather than compiling reports.
  • Analyze, document, and improve business processes using workflow modeling and standardized documentation methods.
  • Support the design, implementation, and maintenance of integrated reporting processes across enterprise systems including ERP and project management platforms such as Ecosys.
  • Drive adoption of standardized processes, master data governance, and system usage across Operating Units.
  • Partner with functional teams to improve operational processes and align systems with business objectives.
  • Understand business intelligence needs and develop reporting solutions that support operational and strategic decision-making.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define reporting requirements and prioritize dashboard initiatives.
  • Translate complex datasets into business-oriented insights and recommendations.
  • Perform ad hoc business analysis to address operational challenges and opportunities
  • Design and develop interactive dashboards using Power BI and other BI platforms.
  • Create executive-level reporting that provides visibility into project performance, KPIs, and operational metrics.
  • Develop early warning indicators and performance monitoring dashboards for major projects.
  • Ensure dashboards provide clear, actionable insights for leadership and operational teams.
  • Integrate data from multiple enterprise systems including ERP, project management, and operational platforms.
  • Develop scalable data models and schema structures that support enterprise reporting.
  • Work with Operating Units to onboard new data sources into enterprise reporting frameworks.
  • Ensure data governance standards are applied across reporting and analytics solutions.
  • Develop and maintain a roadmap for analytics and reporting initiatives supporting major projects and corporate reporting objectives.
  • Manage the delivery of reporting and analytics initiatives using structured release planning methodologies.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure reporting solutions meet evolving business needs.
  • Track project milestones and communicate reporting initiative progress to leadership.
  • Identify opportunities to improve data quality, reporting automation, and operational visibility.
  • Promote the use of standardized analytics and reporting frameworks across Operating Units.
  • Support organizational initiatives that enhance business process efficiency and data-driven decision-making.
