What You’ll Do: The Business Process Analyst Intern will assist in evaluating business problems, identifying requirements, and selecting and developing solutions with a Member-first focus. This includes researching and analyzing data in support of business functions, process knowledge, and system requirements as well as project and process management. Requirements

  • Enrolled at a University throughout the length of the internship, pursuing a degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or other related field
  • Familiar with core systems and tools (e.g., SQL, workflow automation, data analysis) with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to evaluate and improve processes, gather and interpret data, and write clear reports and procedures.
  • Capable of prioritizing multiple tasks, meeting deadlines, maintaining quality in high-volume environments, and effectively managing conflict.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, readily learns new technologies, and demonstrates analytical and process design experience.
  • Must be able to work onsite at Royal Credit Union Corporate Center in Eau Claire, WI throughout the school year and during breaks.
  • Must be able to commit to the 12-month internship.

Responsibilities

  • Gather and analyze data to develop and implement process changes for continuous improvement in operational procedures.
  • Collaborate with business units to gather requirements, develop specifications, document processes, and participate in developing, testing, and rolling out solutions.
  • Build, program, test, debug, and implement solutions/automations that meet business requirements and standards.
  • Track, prioritize, and escalate issues as needed, while meeting performance goals and complying with the Bank Secrecy Act.
